FAQ

How long does it take to apply paint protection film?

Applying PPF to a small car usually takes around two hours. Applying PPF to a large car usually takes around four hours, but this time can vary depending on the size of the car and the experience of the installer. Some installers may also charge more for complicated installations, like those with curves or intricate patterns.

Are there any special care instructions for paint protection film?

Applying paint protection film to your car is a great way to keep it looking new. However, there are a few things you need to do to keep the film in good condition. First, avoid washing your car with harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can break down the film and cause it to lose its shine. Additionally, be sure to wax the film regularly to keep it looking glossy and protected from the elements. To avoid damaging the surface, don’t scrub or rub the film when you’re cleaning it – just wipe it off gently with a soft cloth. With proper care, your paint protection film will last for many years.

What happens if the film gets scratched?

If the paint is not correctly applied to the car, it can chip or scratch the ppf. This is not good because it makes the ppf look bad and it can also make it difficult to change in the future. To avoid this, you should make sure that there is at least a quarter inch of space between the paint and the edge of the ppf.

Can paint protection film be removed?

If the paint film protector (ppf) is not installed correctly, it can get scratched. If it is installed too close to the edge of the paint, it can get chipped or scratched when the car is driven. Even a small scratch can mar the finish and cause the ppf to yellow over time. In addition, scratches can also make it difficult to remove the ppf when it’s time to change it. A good rule of thumb is to have at least a quarter inch of ppf extending beyond the edge of the paint. This will help protect the paint from being chipped or scratched, and will also make it easier to remove the ppf when it’s time to change it.

What kind of vehicles can use PPF?

Car paint protection film can be used on different types of cars. It is often used on luxury cars, because it protects the paint from scratches and other damages. But it can also be used on more affordable cars, because it still offers some protection against the elements.
